Background: The long, twisted and contorted pods mature from light green to bright yellow then orange, typically growing as an Annual or Perennial. These pods have a similar heat level to a Red Habanero.

Flavour: Strong lemon / lime chinense flavour followed by a good heat.
Background: A very rare variety from the northern jungles of Brazil and popular in. The abundant wrinkled pods ripen to a creamy colour and can get a yellow tint – “amarela” being the Portuguese word for “yellow”.
